A Thread That Remembers
Jasmine Is a Lie
Introducing Jasmine Is a Lie
A capsule collection by MA RA MI, made with Wovenbeyond yarns.
We’re proud to announce our collaboration with designer Andra Clițan and MA RA MI on Jasmine Is a Lie, a sculptural capsule collection that explores the beauty of decay, duality, and craft as cultural memory.
Rooted in regeneration and created with Wovenbeyond’s fully traceable yarns, this ten-look collection marks a powerful expression of what fashion can become when it honours both land and lineage. Our natural, regenerative fibres, sourced from biodiverse ecosystems and spun with care, form the foundation of each handmade piece.
From raw fleece to final stitch, every thread in Jasmine Is a Lie tells a story of connection: to earth, to maker, to meaning.
This is slow fashion at its most alive.

Bridging the Gap Between Fashion & Farming
We believe in the importance of reestablishing a connection between the farming world and customers. This will increase understanding of the effort required to produce our fibres, and hopefully initiate a cultural shift around fashion consumption.
It is paramount to know the origin of fibres in our yarn and our clothes. The way these textiles are created has an impact on the environment, animals, and people – we want that impact to be a positive one.
We are particularly interested in sourcing natural fibres from herders and farmers that practice regenerative farming because of its positive ecological health, animal welfare, and social & economic equity outcomes.
Merino D'Arles Wool & Himalayan Nettle
We are proud to support two excellent organisations that prioritise sustainability and quality:
Merino d’Arles Selection©, a collective of French herders that produces the finest mulesing-free Merino wool in Europe. They practice transhumance: the most sustainable grazing method in terms of natural resources use and land management.
And Himalayan Wild Fibers™, a social enterprise in Nepal that produces wonderful nettle fibre whilst fostering an equitable local economy for the farmers living in the area. They promote sustainable land management practices that the indigenous populations have carried out for centuries to preserve the ecosystem.
Fashion & Farming
Fashion and farming have a close relationship that is usually overlooked. Though we often forget, the fibres that make our garments grow from the land.
We believe it is important to demand brand transparency across the supply chain from farm to finished product and to support regenerative farming.
We only partner with organisations that have a transparent supply chain and we actively work to build meaningful relationship with farmers and local communities.
The Regenerative British Wool Project
We are building a network of British farmers who are practicing regenerative agriculture. These farmers have introduced sheep grazing into the arable land rotation to improve soil health as well as the structure & biology of the land, and to reduce the need for fertilisers.
Our farmers raise local sheep breeds, with the highest welfare standards, to ensure that the animals have the necessary resilience to thrive in the local landscape and weather conditions.
