British alpaca yarn made from 100% fibre sourced from Redens Alpacas in West Sussex and spun in the UK by East Anglia Alpaca Mill, a specialist mill dedicated to alpaca fibre.

Redens Dark Brown is a fine 4 ply yarn with an exceptionally soft, smooth handle and beautiful natural drape. Lightweight and fluid, it creates an elegant fabric that moves softly around the body, making it particularly suited to scarves, shawls, wraps and refined knitwear.

Its rich dark brown is the natural colour of the alpaca fleece. Completely undyed, the yarn allows the depth and subtle variation of the fibre itself to become part of the finished piece.

Its breeding programme has received extensive recognition in the British show ring, reflecting a long-term commitment to fleece quality and animal care.

After shearing, the fibre remains in Britain to be transformed into yarn. It is spun by East Anglia Alpaca Mill, a specialist mill focused on processing alpaca fibre. Keeping both the fibre source and spinning within the UK creates a much closer connection between the animals that produce the fleece and the finished yarn in your hands.
