For Anna, the Lemon Purse was inspired by the origins of the materials and the imagery of regenerative landscapes.

“I envisioned a design that reflects the origins of its materials. When I think of regenerative farming, my mind immediately evokes images of livestock grazing on green pastures, flourishing mixed crops and fruit trees, hence the lemon motif.

Wovenbeyond provides a fantastic array of yarn and colours that perfectly complemented this vision.

My goal was to create a pattern that is not only visually striking but also accessible to all skill levels, incorporating crochet and embroidery in a way that is easy to understand and execute.
