Created in collaboration with designer Anna Tamas-Katzer, founder of Anna’s Tits ’N’ Tats, this collection brings together playful textile design, beginner-friendly craft patterns and Wovenbeyond’s natural fibre yarns.
If you are looking for a crochet purse kit, a fun handmade gift, a beginner-friendly creative project, or a natural fibre craft kit with real personality, this collaboration was made for you.
A playful crochet and knitting kit collection
The Anna’s Tits ’N’ Tats x Wovenbeyond collection includes two sets of kits: small crochet purse kits and a knitted sheep vest kit.
Each design combines Anna’s bold, tattoo-inspired visual language with Wovenbeyond yarns made from natural fibres including Himalayan nettle and French Merino d’Arles wool.
The result is a collection of craft kits that are fun to make, easy to love and full of character.
The Crochet Purse Kits
The crochet purse kits are small, joyful projects designed to be accessible, useful and full of attitude.
The collection includes three designs:
- Boob Purse Crochet Kit
- Sheep Purse Crochet Kit
- Lemon Purse Crochet Kit
Each purse kit includes a carefully selected assortment of Wovenbeyond yarns, including our Allo Baby yarn: a distinctive blend of Himalayan nettle and Merino d’Arles wool.
These are compact projects, perfect for a weekend make, a holiday craft, or a creative gift for someone who loves crochet, colour and original design.
The Boob Purse is the most iconic of the three. Fun, a little cheeky and instantly recognisable, it turns a simple crochet pattern into a small act of self-expression. It is beginner-friendly, but still carries all the attitude of Anna’s visual world.
In a world where women’s nipples are still often restricted, reported or removed online, there is something quietly rebellious about a pair of crocheted boobs.
The Sheep Vest Kit
The Sheep Vest Kit is a larger knitting project with embroidered details, available in two colour variations: navy and sand.
The main yarn used for this design is Alpine Cloud, Wovenbeyond’s bouncy chainette yarn made from 100% French Merino d’Arles wool.
What makes this kit especially playful is the sheep embroidery motif. Inspired by the Merino sheep behind the yarn, Anna created a sheep design with crimped fleece on the head — cute, funny and full of character.
The Sheep Vest Kit is a celebration of sheep: for the beautiful fibre they provide, and for the smiles they put on our faces.
You can also add the embroidery and embellishments later, giving you two ways to wear the same vest: simple and classic, or fully decorated with Anna’s signature humour.
Beginner-friendly craft kits with personality
These kits are designed to be enjoyable for a range of makers, including beginners.
The purse kits are ideal if you are new to crochet or want a small, satisfying project. The Sheep Vest Kit brings together knitting and embroidery, giving you the chance to build confidence while creating something wearable and unique.
Each kit includes step-by-step instructions and clear visual guidance, so you can enjoy the making process as much as the finished piece.
Whether you are learning crochet, returning to knitting, or looking for a creative project with a strong design identity, these kits offer an accessible way into handmade fashion.
Natural fibre yarns with a story
At Wovenbeyond, the material always matters.
The yarns used in this collaboration are made with natural fibres including Himalayan nettle and French Merino d’Arles wool. These fibres were chosen for their texture, strength, beauty and connection to land, animals and traditional fibre knowledge.
Himalayan nettle brings strength, character and a unique plant-based texture. Merino d’Arles wool adds softness, bounce and warmth. Together, they create yarns that feel special in the hand and meaningful in the making.
These are not anonymous materials. They carry stories of fibre origins, farming, craft and care — and that is exactly what made them such a good match for Anna’s designs.
Design inspiration from Anna Tamas-Katzer
For Anna, the collection was inspired by the origins of the materials and the joy of turning fibre stories into playful motifs.
“I envisioned a design that reflects the origins of its materials. When I think of regenerative farming, my mind immediately evokes images of livestock grazing on green pastures, flourishing mixed crops and fruit trees.
I also decided to offer my original statement designs, the Boob, which I adore because it’s a little naughty and a little quirky. It’s cute, scandalous, and makes a fantastic crochet purse design.
Wovenbeyond provides a fantastic array of yarn and colours that perfectly complemented this vision. My goal was to create patterns that are not only visually striking but also accessible to all skill levels, incorporating knitting, crochet and embroidery in a way that is easy to understand and execute.
I hope you enjoy making and using the purses and vest as much as I do.”
